Fans of robotics came together for FIRST, held in Atlanta between April 15 and 17, it is a huge competition devoted to 21st century automatons. Supporters and participants intermingled at this event, which brought together no less than 2,000 people.
Robot designers of all sorts faced up to each other in various categories. One of the categories was devoted exclusively to LEGO "Mindstorms" models. Young engineers, aged between 4 and 16, took part in the competitions. No less than 84 teams from the four corners of the world were pitted against each other in a crazy atmosphere. Enough to do proper justice to science and technology!
